The PsychoNoetic Science Institute (PSI) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to exploring and teaching the science and the transformational strategies of PsychoNoetics, and by these means bringing humanity to unconditional Enlightenment.* The evolutionary purpose of the PsychoNoetic Science Institute is to facilitate and catalyze the shift in human consciousness from self-interest to enlightened self-interest.
But when it comes right down to it, this is a shift that is, first of all, a decision on the part of individuals to make that change in themselves, to work at it, to accept nothing else of themselves. The vision of PSI is twofold. First, that all individuals willing to learn how to shift themselves from survival consciousness to unconditional enlightenment do so. Second, that these individuals become an interacting collective of sovereign individuals functioning from enlightened self-interest.
Like so many enlightened individuals and organizations, (listed below, in alphabetic order) we also recognize the need for a critical mass of people who no longer participate in the current paradigm to come together. We also see the deep need for connectivity and unity. But if these qualities are not first partnered not only with a true impulse to shift but a more powerful means of effecting that shift, our efforts will only create the same kinds of outcomes that we see around us today and our technologies, no matter how well intentioned, will continue to encourage only divisiveness.
If we are to make room for cultural evolution, we must first be willing to change ourselves, to release the conditioning of not only our personal experiences in this lifetime, but also our human heritage from the collective evolution that we embody. We must make PSI meditative processing and other releasing strategies, our daily practice, as easy and habitual as brushing one's teeth.
* The PsychoNoetic Science Institute is chartered upon the constituion of HolacracyTM, the evolutionary organizational operating system of distributed corporate governance and dynamic steering.
